After losing to ENCE for the second time this month, FaZe are heading to the Group B lower bracket to meet Liquid.

ENCE defeated FaZe 2-0 in the IEM Dallas Group B upper bracket semi-final to secure a spot in the playoffs, which is set to take place in front of a crowd at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center from Friday.

The Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer-led side will still have a match to play in the group for a direct berth to the semi-finals, against the winner of the other upper semi between Astralis and Cloud9.

ENCE looked in cruise control for the majority of the match, securing their second consecutive victory against Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen's team following a 2-1 win in the BLAST.tv Paris Major Challengers Stage.

This time around, ENCE dominated Anubis on the back of a superb Álvaro "⁠SunPayus⁠" García performance on the Terrorist side. They got a whopping 11 rounds despite the fact that they faced solid buys most of the time due to FaZe often finding themselves forced to save after losing picks early.

ENCE then got most of the rest of the work done with another great first half on Overpass as CT, and FaZe fell short of an attempt to mount a comeback, 13-16, thanks to Guy "⁠NertZ⁠" Iluz finding key openings in the final two rounds of the map.

Meanwhile, MOUZ and FURIA battled in the Group A lower bracket for survival, and it was the former who prevailed after a relatively straightforward match.

The Brazilians had struggled with their offensive sides at the BLAST.tv Paris Major, which led to their early demise, and the same was the case at IEM Dallas just a few weeks later. They only won four offensive rounds in a close loss to OG to start and then sent Nouns packing without any issues, only to falter due to their Terrorist sides against MOUZ with just 6 out of 26 rounds won on the offense across Inferno and Vertigo.

While for MOUZ it was a case of everyone pulling their weight, with Christopher "⁠dexter⁠" Nong standing atop the charts, FURIA once again found their individuals lacking, with only Yuri "⁠yuurih⁠" Santos finishing the match above a 1.00 rating.
